TEAM X-CEPTIONAL

Hey there! We are a group of JC1 Dunman High School students (Lim En Ning, Lam Si Kai, Poh Say Keong, Winson Zheng) working with the Disabled People’s Association to create a more inclusive society. We believe that all persons can be empowered to make a difference, as contributors to the society.

X-RUN 2018

With the first appearance of X-Run in 2014, started by 4 JC1 students of Dunman High School hoping to make an impact on the society and raise awareness for Singapore’s parathletes in partnership with Singapore Disability Sports Council, with the slogan ‘X-perience, X-ceed, X-press’, X-Run has continued to attract masses of the public in 2015, where they called their project Project X and have pre-event initiatives according to the names X-cel, X-ceed and X-perience, and 2017, ‘Unleash your potential, X-ceed your credentials’.

This year is the 4th edition of X-Run, in partnership with the Disabled People’s Association Singapore, focusing on the integration of persons with disabilities into society with the slogan ‘X-perience, X-cceptance, X-cel.’

The logo encapsulates the essence of inclusiveness with the lengthening of the stroke to surround the word 'X-Run 2018'. The colours were chosen meticulously, with teal green to represent the Disabled People's Association, the organisation we have partnered with, and blue represents feelings of sincerity and trust for our society to work together as a community.
