X-Run 2017 was held at Bishan Park, on Saturday 15 July, with an estimated 277 participants joining in despite the slight drizzle. With the Singapore Sports Disability Council (SDSC) as a partner, the focus was on supporting all parathletes. All of us agree with SDSC’s principle of ‘disability would never disqualify’, and X-Run 2017 helped to raise awareness and support for this cause, and to build an inclusive society regardless of ability. 

This year, Mr. Ng Ser Miang, member of the executive board for the International Olympic Committee who is also an ex-Dunmanian, graced the event, along with various athletes such as Mr. Shariff Abdullah, a parathlete, and Mr. Raviin Kumar.
